Interstellar Colombian Emerald & Diamond Necklace | 18kt Yellow Gold

This is where the collection begins and ends. If the diamonds across Interstellar are stars, this necklace is the nebula — the vast formation they are born from, and the piece every other design orbits.

Ten Colombian emeralds, 12.95ct in total, were chosen individually for depth of color and set into hand-fabricated sculptural forms in 18kt yellow gold. Twenty-two diamonds, 1.50ct together, surround them — the light gathering at the edges of something much larger.

Built section by section at the John Apel bench in New York. No molds, no casting, no production line. A piece of this scale is measured in weeks at the bench, not hours: the structure has to hold stones of this size without ever looking like it is working to do so.
