Signatures Dragonfly Pendant Necklace

A handcrafted piece from John Apel's Signatures Collection — a platinum dragonfly caught mid-flight, suspended from a delicate 18kt yellow gold chain. The cool shimmer of platinum against warm gold gives the dragonfly a luminous, lifelike presence as it moves with the wearer.

The body is set with a 0.40ct rose-cut diamond whose soft, old-world glow reads as light rather than flash, accented by a 0.10ct oval diamond and a 0.10ct baguette diamond that trace the lines of the wings. A 0.06ct brilliant-cut diamond adds a single point of bright contrast, hand-set in fine bezels so the piece keeps its dimension as it catches the light.
